Hope Online Learning Academy

Free and Reduced Lunch Program

Hope Online Learning Academy Co-Op, through the sponsorship of Douglas County School District, participates in the USDA Free and Reduced Lunch Program (FRL).  The program is a simple lunch program that consists of a sandwich, fruit, vegetable and milk.

Each Learning Center that elects to participate in the FRL program must follow strict guidelines, as required by DCSD and the Colorado Department of Education.  In order to be approved for program participation, Learning Centers begin by completing the attached application (see below). The application must be accompanied by the appropriate health inspections.  Once approved (which may take 4 – 6 weeks), each student will be asked to fill out a FRL application for processing by DCSD.

Hope Online will conduct a mandatory training in July 2009 to educate all new and existing Learning Centers about the program. See the frequently asked questions link for further information (see below). If you are interested in participating and have submitted an application, feel free to contact Annie Genereux at 303-551-3977 with further questions. Completed applications should be faxed to Annie Genereux at 303-648-6731.
